About Cognition Education Trust Cognition Education Trust (CET) is a charitable organisation that makes donations to the educational sector, through our schools and ultimately the children and young people of New Zealand. The Trust has been in operation since 1989 and is funded by the profits created by Cognition Education Limited. Cognition Education is New Zealand's leading independent education consulting services company, working closely with the New Zealand Ministry of Education, educational organisations, schools and government ministries offshore. Cognition's Multiserve division provides a range of services to the education community such as payroll, school transport management and relief teacher recruitment. CET also funds the Cognition Educational Research Trust (CERT), an independent sponsor of a broad range of educational research designed to improve standards right across our education system.
