Steve Denning (USA)

Steve Denning is the author of the acclaimed book Squirrel Inc. A Fable of Leadership through Storytelling, and now also The Leader's Guide to Storytelling. Both show how storytelling can serve as a powerful tool in meeting key leadership challenges.

Born in Australia, Steve studied law and psychology at Sydney and after practising law for some years did a postgraduate degree in law at Oxford University before joining the World Bank, where he held senior positions including Director of the Africa Region from 1994 to 1996.

He now works with organisations around the world on leadership, change, knowledge management and organisational storytelling and his clients include many Fortune 500 companies. In 2003 he was ranked as one of the world's 'Top Two Hundred Business Gurus' by Davenport & Prusak, in What's The Big Idea? (Harvard, 2003).
